Huskies visit Calgary in 2022 season opener

The 2022 University of Saskatchewan Huskie football schedule was released on Thursday. This year the team will open with three of four games on the road, then have three of the final four regular season games at Griffiths Stadium.

The Huskies will play their provincial rivals, the Regina Rams, twice this season. Once at Mosaic Stadium on Saturday September 17^th, then the Rams return to Saskatoon for the rematch on Saturday October 15^th. Saskatchewan will also face the Calgary Dinos and the UBC Thunderbirds twice this season.

The Huskies’ lone meeting against the Manitoba Bisons is set for Friday September 30^th at Griffiths Stadium. Saskatchewan defeated Manitoba 45-17 in the Hardy Cup last November to claim the 2021 Canada West title.

The Huskies spring camp begins on Thursday May 5^th with the annual Dog’s Breakfast and Prairieland Park, then workouts throughout the weekend ending with the annual Green and White scrimmage on Sunday May 8^th.
