The B.C. Lions went “Huskie heavy” in Tuesday’s CFL draft. Three of the Lions’ nine selections were from the University of Saskatchewan. Defensive lineman Nathan Cherry was chosen third overall. In the second round, with the 12th overall pick, BC claimed Huskie offensive lineman Noah Zerr. Defensive lineman Riley Pickett was selected 41st overall (5th round) by BC.

HuskieFAN’s Wray Morrison had a chance to chat with Noah Zerr about getting the opportunity to join the Lions for camp.

CFL rookie camps start on May 11th, however Zerr will be in New York at Giants rookie camp at that time. CFL training camps start on May 15th.
