36 year old Jamie Campbell is the new coach of the Huskie men’s basketball team. The Sudbury, Ontario product comes to the University of Saskatchewan after serving as Technical Director of Ontario Basketball. Campbell was an assistant coach with the Carleton Ravens in 2019 and in 2020, and prior to that spent seven seasons on the Wilfred Laurier coaching staff. Campbell’s father, Peter, spent three decades as a university coach at Laurentian and Wilfred Laurier.

Campbell chatted with HuskieFAN’s Wray Morrison about his reaction to being the named the 10^th coach in Huskie men’s basketball history, his background in the sport, the talent on the Saskatchewan men’s basketball team and about Campbell’s coaching style.
