Huskies welcome Dinos to Merlis Belsher Place for home opener

Huskie women’s hockey coach Steve Kook is preparing his team for the home opening weekend as the Calgary Dinos visit Merlis Belsher Place on October 7th and 8th. Both Saskatchewan and Calgary split their opening series’ and enter the Thanksgiving weekend with 1 and 1 records.

The Trinity Western Spartans beat the Huskies in their season opener 2-1, in Langley last weekend, however Saskatchewan posted a 3-0 shutout over the Spartans in the second game. Colby Wilson made 28 stops in the win.

In this conversation with HuskieFAN’s Wray Morrison, Kook says “Giveaways and Takeaways” are a priority.
