Huskies visit conference-leading Thunderbirds in women’s hockey this weekend

The Huskie women’s hockey team visits the UBC Thunderbirds in Friday and Saturday contests in Vancouver.

Following a pair of 2-1 wins over Trinity Western University on January 6 and 7, the Huskies are fourth in the Canada West standings, two points back of Alberta and Mount Royal and three points behind the front-running Thunderbirds.

HuskieFAN’s Wray Morrison caught up with Huskie head coach Steve Kook about this weekend’s series at The Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre.
