Saskatchewan swept by UBC after shutout defeat Saturday
Huskies women’s hockey is heading home without a win, or points, on the west coast.
The conference-leading UBC Thunderbirds scored in each period for a 6-0 shutout win over the University of Saskatchewan Saturday.
After the game, Huskies head coach Steve Kook said the team had difficulty after a bad start, trailing 3-0 in the first twenty minutes.
“You get chances to reflect throughout the season and a lot of the time, as athletes, you choose to reflect on the positives,” Kook said after the game.
