Huskies ‘Play for a Cure’ night to honour aunt of goaltender Wilson
Colby Wilson is getting the start in net on a night dedicated to one of her biggest supporters.
The University of Saskatchewan Huskies goaltender says she could always count on a game-day message from her aunt, Trisha Larsen, who would be in the stands whenever she could.
“She was awesome. Super funny and so nice. Literally lit up the room everywhere she went,” Wilson said.
Larsen was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2021. The disease occurs within the tissues of the pancreas, a vital endocrine organ located behind the stomach.
