Meet Kennedy Brown: Bateman Jewellers Diamond In The Rough Series

The Huskie women’s hockey team has the good fortune of little to no turnover going into the 2023-24 season, and there is a lot at stake considering Saskatchewan is hosting the USports championships at Merlis Belsher Place.

Okotoks product Kennedy Brown will be one of the leaders that coach Steve Kook will be counting on next season. Brown had eight points in just 17 games last season before tearing an ACL in early December. The fifth-year centre had surgery in January, and Kook hopes to have Brown in the lineup by the second month of the regular season.
