Huskies split weekend series with Pandas after wild OT game Saturday
The U of S Huskies came so close to a second straight shutout win over the University of Alberta, but the Pandas spoiled that party.
The visiting team scored the tying goal with just over five minutes left in regulation while Izzy Lajoie notched the game winner in overtime for a 2-1 win for Alberta over the Huskies.
Just one day prior, the Huskies and Camryn Drever stole the show with a 2-0 shutout at Merlis Belsher Place.
Drever had 35 saves for that shutout with Kate Ball and Kendra Zuchotzki getting the goals.
