The PAC, Merlis Belsher Place and Griffiths Stadium will be busy

The Huskie volleyball teams kick off the month of November by hosting the Brandon Bobcats on November 7th and 8th. The USask men’s squad picked up its first wins of the season by taking Friday and Saturday matches from Thompson Rivers in B.C. last weekend. The Huskies are 2 and 2, while the Bobcats are 2 and 4.

Friday’s matches start at 6:00 PM while Saturday’s start at 3:00 PM at the PAC.

Saskatchewan’s women’s volleyball team puts a 3 and 3 record on the line against the Bobcats who are looking for their first wins of the season. The Huskies split matches with the TRU Wolfpack in Kamloops last weekend.

Matches start at 7:30 PM on Friday and at 4:30 PM on Saturday at the PAC.

With momentum on its side the Huskie women’s hockey team hosts the Calgary Dinos on the November 7-8 weekend. USask posted 3-1 and 2-1 wins over the Bisons in Winnipeg last weekend. Saskatchewan is 4-2 and 2, while the Dinos top the east division standings at 6-3 and 1.

The puck drops at 7:00 PM on Friday and at 5:00 PM on Saturday at Merlis Belsher Place.

For the second straight year the Huskie football team will host the Regina Rams in the Hardy Cup. Regina pulled out a 32-29 overtime win over Manitoba in last weekend’s semi-finals while the Huskies dominated UBC 26-7 to advance.

Kick-off is at 2:00 PM at Griffiths Stadium.
