Track and Field, volleyball, basketball and hockey all on deck

The Huskie men’s volleyball team hosts the Brandon Bobcats in a Canada West play-in series on February 19th, 20th and 21st at the PAC. USask had a regular season record of 9 and 11, while Brandon was 7 and 13 on the season. The Bobcats are the defending U SPORTS champions.

 Match times are at 6:00 PM on Thursday and Friday and 2:00 PM on Saturday.

The Huskies host the Canada West track and field championships at the Saskatoon Field House on February 20th and 21st. The USask women’s team is in pursuit of an eighth straight conference banner.

Competition starts on Friday at 11:45 AM with women’s high jump. Events on Saturday start up at 9:00 AM.

The Alberta Golden Bears visit the USask Huskies in a best-of-three Canada West men’s hockey quarterfinal on February 20th, 21st and 22nd if necessary. Saskatchewan finished second in the east division standings with a 19-7-1-1 regular season record, while the Bears secured third place in the west division with an 11-13-2-2 mark. Saskatchewan defeated Alberta in both 2025-26 regular season meetings.

The Friday and Saturday games start at 7:00 PM and if a third game is necessary, it will be on Sunday evening at 6:00 PM at Merlis Belsher Place.

The defending U SPORTS women’s basketball champions, the USask Huskies, host the Calgary Dinos in a Canada West semifinal on Saturday, February 21st at the PAC. Saskatchewan finished with a perfect 20-0 regular season, while the U of C was 16 and 4 this season.

A win for the Huskies would secure a sport in the U SPORTS Final 8 which is set for Quebec City on March 5th – 8th.

The Dino-Huskie semifinal starts at 7:00 PM on the Ron and Jane Graham Centre Court at the PAC on Saturday.
