Huskies and Griffins meet for first time this season
The MacEwan Griffins, who have points in in their last five games including three wins in regulation time, visit the Huskie men’s hockey team on November 29th and 30th at Merlis Belsher Place. Saskatchewan (10 and 4) is coming off a weekend split with the Alberta Golden Bears from the November 22-23 weekend.
The U of S sits four points back of the Bears for top spot in the Canada West east division standings. Veteran Huskie forward Dawson Holt is tied for the conference lead in scoring with 20 points in 14 games. Goaltender Jordan Kooy is second in the conference with a 2.00 Goals Against Average in seven appearances this season, while Roddy Ross is at an impressive 2.61.
