Huskie-Saskatoon Minor Football feature

Each week we highlight a Huskie player who grew up playing within the Saskatoon Minor Football program. 

USask quarterback Elias Flory, who attended Holy Cross high school, is in his first year of eligibility with the team after being a redshirt in 2025. Flory, son of head coach Scott Flory, had 94 yards in passing and two touchdowns in the Huskies’ 35-1 exhibition win over the Alberta Golden Bears on August 28th at Griffiths Stadium.

 Flory, who grew up around the game, witnessed his father win 2009 and 2010 Grey Cup championships with the Montreal Alouettes. Eli, who has a strong arm and great command of the Huskie offense, credits Crusader coach Scott Hundseth, among others. for properly preparing him for U SPORTS football.
