Sep 23, 2026 | 6:57 PM

The first weekend of fall includes the launch of the USask Cross Country season and men’s soccer.

Out to end a three-game losing skid, the 2-3 Huskie men’s soccer squad has a pair of September 26th and 27th matches at Griffiths Stadium. On Saturday afternoon the Victoria Vikes (3-2-1) visit the USask campus at 2:00 PM. At 2:30 PM on Sunday the Thompson Rivers Wolfpack (4-2) will face the Huskies. Saskatchewan goalkeeper Jaron Slopinski is two full games away from breaking school records for career games and minutes played.

The U-Prairie Challenge between the Regina Cougars and the Huskies continues with a home-and-home set between the U of R and the USask women’s soccer teams. Following a Friday night match in Regina, the two teams will meet again at 12:00 PM on Sunday at Griffiths Stadium.
