Members of both the UBC Thunderbirds and Saskatchewan Huskies were on hand at a news conference at Griffiths Stadium to offer thoughts just hours before the two teams clash in the 85th Hardy Cup in Saskatoon.

The defending Hardy Cup champion Huskies are the favourites based on their 7 and 1 regular season record, while the Thunderbirds finished 4 and 4.

Saskatchewan’s lone loss of the season came at the hands of the Thunderbirds. UBC defeated the Huskies 35-29 back on October 22nd in Vancouver.

UBC defeated the Regina Rams 28-14 in last Saturday’s semi-final, while the Huskies dominated Manitoba 37-9 in the other final four match up at Griffiths Stadium.

HuskieFAN’s Wray Morrison had a chance to talk with key members of both teams.
