Members of both the UBC Thunderbirds and Saskatchewan Huskies were on hand at a news conference at Griffiths Stadium to offer thoughts just hours before the two teams clash in the 85^th Hardy Cup in Saskatoon.

The defending Hardy Cup champion Huskies are the favourites based on their 7 and 1 regular season record, while the Thunderbirds finished 4 and 4.

Saskatchewan’s lone loss of the season came at the hands of the Thunderbirds. UBC defeated the Huskies 35-29 back on October 22^nd in Vancouver.

UBC defeated the Regina Rams 28-14 in last Saturday’s semi-final, while the Huskies dominated Manitoba 37-9 in the other final four match up at Griffiths Stadium.
