Saskatoon Minor Football player profile – Kayden Miller
Kayden Miller, a USask running back in his fourth year of eligibility, is this week’s Huskie/Saskatoon Minor Football player of the week. Miller, who is also a key special teams player for the Huskies, attended Holy Cross high school in Saskatoon.
He was asked about attending Huskie games while growing up. “You play Kinsmen (tackle football) and they take you to the game…looking back at it, I always wanted it (to be a Huskie”.)
Miller competed in track and field, but never played any other team sports growing up, other than football. “Football was the love for me! In my opinion there is no better sport. It’s got a position for everyone.” Miller, who is in Kinesiology at the U of S, currently coaches minor football and plans to stay involved after his playing career. “I’ll definitely be around the game.”
Miller talked with HuskieFAN about growing up with the game in Saskatoon.
