Basketball, men’s hockey and wrestling wrap up the month of November on campus

The Huskie women’s basketball team returns to home court with the goal of maintaining its undefeated record as the Brandon Bobcats visit the PAC on November 28th and 29th. Saskatchewan is 8 and 0 after convincing wins over the UBC Thunderbirds on November 21st and 22nd. Brandon enters the weekend with a 3-7 record.

Tip-off on November 28th is at 6:00 PM. The November 29th Bobcat-Huskie game starts at 5:00 PM.

The USask men’s basketball squad looks to improve a 1-7 mark as the 5-5 Bobcats visit the Bridge City. A young Huskie team has been led by 3rd-year forward Easton Thimm who is averaging 15. 4 points per game, and 5th-year guard, Emmanuel Bonsu, who has a 14.4 game/average so far this season.

The men’s games start at 8:00 PM on Friday and 7:00 PM on Saturday.

There is Huskie men’s hockey action at Merlis Belsher Place as the UBC Thunderbirds visit Saskatoon on November 28th and 29th. USask ended a three-game losing skid with victories over the MacEwan Griffins in Edmonton on the November 21-22 weekend. The Huskies are 8-3 and 1 on the season. The Thunderbirds lead the Canada West, west division and have won 12 of 14 games this season.

Games are at 7:00 PM Friday and 5:00 PM Saturday at Merlis Belsher Place.

The Huskie wrestling teams face Calgary in duals on Friday, November 28th at 7:00 PM at the Education Gym. The Huskie Open starts on Saturday, November 29th at 9:00 AM.
