Track and Field, men’s hockey and basketball fill campus facilities for the January 23rd-24th weekend

The Knights of Columbus Indoor Games take centre stage at the Saskatoon Field House on the January 24th and 25th. The Huskie women’s team is the top ranked squad in the country entering the event, while the USask men’s team is ranked 9th.

The men’s hockey team returns home after back-to-back weekends on the road. The 9-7-4 Alberta Golden Bears visit the 14-4-2 Huskies in Friday and Saturday games. After picking up three points at Mount Royal last weekend, the fourth-ranked Huskies now play five of their final eight regular season games at home.

Both January 23rd and 24th contests against the Bears start at 7:00 PM at Merlis Belsher Place.

The USask basketball teams host the Calgary Dinos at the PAC. The Huskie women’s team is a perfect 14-0 after sweeping the Lethbridge Pronghorns durng the January 16th – 17th weekend.

Saskatchewan’s men’s team improved to 5-9 after back-to-back wins over the Pronghorns by scores of 80-75 and 81-77.

The women’s games against the U of C start at 6:00 PM on Friday, January 23rd and 5:00 PM on January 24th. Men’s games follow at 8:00 PM on Friday and 7:00 PM on Saturday.
