Huskies visit Bisons before starting playoffs

The Huskie women’s hockey team ends its regular season on February 9^th and 10^th in Winnipeg against the Manitoba Bisons. Following back-to-back losses to the Mount Royal Cougars on February 2^nd and 3^rd, the Huskies will finish fourth in the Canada West standings and be at home for the first round of the Canada West playoffs which start on February 16^th.

Saskatchewan will likely face the Calgary Dinos in a best-of-three Canada West quarterfinal series on February 16^th, 17^th and 18^th if necessary. The Huskies split their two regular season meetings with the Dinos this season.

Head coach Steve Kook chatted with HuskieFAN’s Wray Morrison about the losses to the Cougars, the upcoming season finale with the Bisons and the road ahead on this edition of The Coach’s Show.

The February 9th contest starts at 7:00 pm. The puck drops at 3:00 pm for the February 10th contest (Saskatchewan Time) Both games can be heard on the free HuskieFAN app and HuskieFAN.ca
