The Huskie women’s hockey team ends its regular season on February 9th and 10th in Winnipeg against the Manitoba Bisons. Following back-to-back losses to the Mount Royal Cougars on February 2nd and 3rd, the Huskies will finish fourth in the Canada West standings and be at home for the first round of the Canada West playoffs which start on February 16th.

Saskatchewan will likely face the Calgary Dinos in a best-of-three Canada West quarterfinal series on February 16th, 17th and 18th if necessary. The Huskies split their two regular season meetings with the Dinos this season.

Head coach Steve Kook chatted with HuskieFAN’s Wray Morrison about the losses to the Cougars, the upcoming season finale with the Bisons and the road ahead on this edition of The Coach’s Show.
